What this is

A site where members pick the day's links. At most thirty of them. When you reach the bottom of the page, that's everything — there is no more to scroll.

The drop

Once a day the links with the most support become the drop. It's the same page for everybody, and it doesn't change afterwards. The next one lands the next morning.

The queue

Before that, links sit in the queue. Anyone who's joined can add a link and upvote the ones worth reading. The queue is where the choosing happens; the drop is the result.

Corners

A corner is a topic — systems, cities, whatever people start. Each has its own queue and its own drop, daily, weekly or monthly. Follow the ones you like and they appear in the bar at the top. Browse them here.

Comments

Every link has one discussion, shared by every corner it appears in. Replies from people who opened the link are grouped above the ones from people who didn't.

Reading and joining

Reading needs nothing — no account, no payment. To vote, post or reply you need an invite from a member and a one-off $5. That's there to make fake accounts expensive, not to make money. If it's a problem, other members have already paid for some memberships you can take.

Influence grows with time, not money. A brand new account's vote barely counts; after three months it counts fully.

Getting it delivered

Settings can email you a drop when it lands — the whole thing, in the message. Or use the feed, which needs no account at all.

Your own page

Your morning is private. You can save things there, and if you want, let your own AI assistant fill it overnight. It can read the site but can't post, vote or comment anywhere.

Who decides what stays

Flagged links go to a few members chosen at random each day. Three of them have to agree before anything is removed, and every decision is public in the mod log, where anyone can call it unfair.
